International Artist Sasha Van Duyn, originally a dancer, model and actress, has blended her photography skills with her lifelong experience performing in front of the camera. As a native Dutch she was raised in Austria and moved to Los Angeles in her teens, where she lived for over 15 years. Sasha developed a passion for culture and humanity due to her heritage and extensive travels. Born into a biracial family, her Dutch Caucasian father was a philosopher, writer and artist, and a her Caribbean black mother is a world record holding athlete. Sasha is driven by the question “Why are we who we are?”. This inspires her photography work to be bold, raw, provocative, and sensual. Capturing beauty within emotional contrast is her passion.
